Show ‘N’ Shine

The crown jewel of Cooly Rocks On, Show ‘N’ Shine is a feast for the eyes. Over 900 vintage vehicles—including classics, customs, hot rods, and muscle cars—will line nearly two kilometres of Coolangatta, set against the stunning backdrop of the beach. Car enthusiasts from across Australia gather to display their treasured rides, making it a must-see event for car lovers and families alike.

Cooly Rocks On Pin-Up Pageant

Step back in time with the Pin-Up Girls Pageant, featuring glamorous contestants from Australia and overseas. Don’t miss the Sashing Ceremony on Wednesday, or catch the finalists enjoying the festival before the big event on Friday. Categories include Classic, Rockabilly, and Most Entertaining, all brimming with retro charm and vintage style.

Saturday Night Car Cruise

One of the festival’s most iconic events, the Saturday Night Car Cruise, returns with all the rumble, shine, and excitement you love. Watch as pre-1979 classics, hot rods, customs, and muscle cars cruise along Marine Parade under the glow of bright lights, creating a party-like atmosphere for all ages.

Designated viewing areas provide the perfect vantage point to soak up the action. Best of all, it’s completely free for spectators—no ticket required!

The Ultimate Elvis Tribute

Slip on your blue suede shoes and catch the magic of Elvis at the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist (UETA) Contest. Over three days, talented tribute artists compete for the crown and a golden ticket to Elvis Week in Memphis, USA.
